Read MoreDr. Muhoza's research focuses on Ras protein drug discovery. His lab uses computational, biochemical and biophysical tools to come up with new small molecules to target Ras related cancers. Currently, he is focusing on three proteins, KRas, Rheb and Cdc42. He has a team of great research students who have already done great work in the field. He has given talks and workshops to high school students and has mentored a lot of undergraduates in the lab and classes. He plans to visit more high schools and host live science demonstrations for students.
